About the role
Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for a
Registered Midwife
to join our
Antenatal Clinic
and
Home Care team , in a permanent, part time (0.8 FTE) opportunity.
Based at our brand new Mater Hospital Springfield and within the Springfield community, this role is part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare, located in a state‑of‑the‑art facility serving over 200,000 patients annually.
This role requires an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Midwife (RM) to provide exceptional midwifery care, proficiency in coordinating, assessing, risk management and communication within a multidisciplinary framework. It is a fantastic chance to become part of a highly skilled and professional team, utilizing your midwifery passion for the delivery of best practice within a supportive environment.
About you
Current registration with AHPRA (no restrictions)
At least one year post graduate experience, preferably within an Antenatal environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication and clinical problem‑solving skills
Demonstrated commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles
Evidence of continuing educational and professional development
Demonstrated ability to role model the Mater mission and values
