Summary of the Position:
Hourly, Part Time position serving youth and families throughout
Osceola are available.
Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings.
The Primary responsibilitiesof the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participant and their families.
All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, mileage and activity reimbursement
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources
Experience working with at-risk youth and families
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) is a plus.
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage is required.
Travel will be part of the position (Travel within local county and community to homes and school) and must be willing to transport in personal vehicle.
Flexible Schedule - May be required to work afternoon, evening and weekend hours based on school and family schedules.
Bilingual/Spanish Speaking is a plus.
