We have recently been awarded the South Dade TransitWay Corridor project, one of the six rapid transit corridors of the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) Plan. As Principal Project Manager, you will play a key role in this project and in expanding our business with Florida DOT District 4.
The Position
Seasoned Road & Highway Project Manager for our South Florida design group. The successful candidate will manage design projects upon award, support business development activities, and work with our Florida and East Coast road and highway engineering team. The role may evolve to Roadway Group Manager.
This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
Responsibilities
You will provide direction and management for large‑scale and alternative delivery projects, ensuring on‑schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. Responsibilities include scope development, scope management, commercial performance, and meeting project goals. You will plan and define program goals, devise methods to achieve them, and develop an in‑depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.
Requirements
4‑year degree in Engineering or a related technical/business field with at least 15+ years of related work experience.
Broad technical and business background with prior project management experience on similar projects.
Florida PE required.
FDOT Experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 15 years delivering FDOT Major Design Projects (Roadway 3.2 or 3.3).
Experience with FDOT required.
Roadway Design background required.
Design‑Build Project Experience is not required but a major plus.
PD&E (FDOT Category 2.0) experience is not required but desirable.

Salary Range: $176,900.00 – $332,400.00
