Job Description
The Corrections Inmate Worker prepares food items in accordance with OP-X production requirements. Assists with production activities as directed by Aramark Supervisors. Performs various duties in accordance with Aramark sanitation standards.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare all food items according to recipe cards and prep lists according to OP-X standards.
Implement accurate food handling procedures.
May be a lead in the storeroom/warehouse.
Maintain accurate inventory levels.
May help ensure accurate pulls.
Maintain clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas. Make sure the stations are accurately cleaned, sanitized, and organized at the end of the shift, including cleaning of kitchen equipment.
Implement the Correctional Facility security policies related to handling and securing kitchen tools and equipment.
Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment, which conforms to all standards and regulations. Adhere to safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
Assist with receiving, unloading, checking in of product.
Complete all required training, including graduation from the Aramark IN2WORK program.
Maintain professional uniform attire.
Qualifications
Currently incarcerated at a Correctional Facility.
Must maintain the ability to work in the kitchen.
