Job Description Summary
The Nurse Extern performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. The Nurse Extern may be cross‑trained to operate as a Unit Secretary depending on the demands and needs of the unit in which they are assigned. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.
