Job Description
The Metro Market team operates as a vital shared service, providing comprehensive support and oversight across Manhattan, Western Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. We collaborate closely with a wide range of essential partners within these areas (Hospital, Ambulatory, HR, Finance, Strategy) Performs administrative staff work in support of research and review projects focusing on Hospital policies and procedures and department operations.
Responsibilities
Participates in the collection and preparation of data relative to the work of the department.
Assists in studies to objectivity ascertain the efficiency, economy and effectiveness of department or Hospital operations, policies and procedures.
Assists management in facilitating new programs and/or procedures.
Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Currently enrolled in a graduate level program in public health or related major required.
Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting, preferred.
Schedule and Location:
In-person role; Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
Duration: June 2026 through August 2026
