Responsibilities
The role involves assisting the Collection Development & Technical Services Manager in copy-cataloging and other cataloging and acquisitions related work. Duties include carrying out library acquisition procedures, copy-cataloging and processing, entering materials into the library ILS, and assisting with record and collection maintenance. This position also makes routine library technical assistance decisions.
Qualifications
The candidate must have good knowledge, skill, and ability in every phase of library technical support functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Schedule
The starting salary range is $14.11-$16 hour, depending on experience. Scheduled at 20 hours/week.
