Motion is partnering with a top-tier commercial HVAC company known for large-scale rooftop installations and national projects to hire 5 Foreman positions.
Location
Nationwide Travel (based anywhere in the U.S. except CA/NV)
Compensation & Schedule
$35/hour W2 base
Consistent overtime (60–70 hours/week typical)
Teams average 1,000+ OT hours per year
Per diem provided while traveling
Typical schedule: 3–4 weeks on the road, 1 week off
Most Foremen earn in the $110K–$140K+ range annually with OT + per diem.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead a crew of 4–6 technicians on commercial HVAC install projects.
Oversee rooftop unit replacements and installs.
Manage full job site execution, including:
Electrical disconnect/reconnect
Controls, EMS, and life safety wiring
Gas piping + condensate connections
Equipment removal, curb installs, crane picks
Read and execute from blueprints/site drawings.
Ensure OSHA safety compliance across the job site.
Track crew hours and coordinate with project management.
Communicate with customers and internal teams.
What They’re Looking For
Proven HVAC Foreman / Crew Lead experience (minimum ~1 year as Foreman)
Strong background in commercial rooftop unit (RTU) installation
Ability to lead full installations from start to finish without supervision
Comfortable troubleshooting on-site issues and adapting in real time
Experience managing crews of 4–6 technicians
Ability to read blueprints and execute installs independently
Willingness to travel extensively and work 60–70 hour weeks
Certifications / Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Ability to Pass
Background check
Drug screening
Motor vehicle check (MVR)
Willingness to Obtain (Company-Supported)
OSHA-10
MEWP / lift certifications
Crane rigger/signal certification
State licensing where required
