About the Role
Brightworks Sustainability LLC is hiring a Sr. Consultant, Sustainable and Healthy Buildings in Portland, OR to advance sustainability initiatives by managing projects pursuing green building certifications.
Responsibilities
Advance sustainability initiatives by managing projects pursuing certifications that validate and enhance performance.
Manage internal and external green building certification workflows and coordinate team members to deliver on schedule.
Oversee building projects from start to finish, including contracts, invoicing, timesheet approvals, and supervising junior team members.
Ensure the seamless integration of sustainability attributes across assigned projects while delivering scope on budget.
Perform analyses to evaluate project performance metrics such as indoor water use against third-party standard sustainability metrics and perform QA/QC reviews of analyses conducted by team members.
Coordinate with design team to confirm project scorecards and lead interactions with design and construction team members during all project phases.
Serve as the credentialed project Green Rater and perform on-site verification and testing for residential projects, including reviewing documentation, assembling the project submittal package, and completing the application to the certifying body.
Qualifications
LEED Green Rater credential required.
Up to 10% domestic travel required.
Full‑time position; telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
Compensation
Salary: $101,546 to $109,830 per year.
