Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Firmware Engineer to join their hardware development department supporting the Surface device project.

Experience in debugging Windows devices - familiarity with Windows devices and usability issues
Software validation/testing – experience validating software, especially on hardware devices
Basic Computer Skills
What’s the Job?
Design, develop, and implement firmware solutions for new Surface devices
Contribute to software validation and testing on proprietary hardware
Analyze system requirements and document specifications for firmware projects
Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues during testing phases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware and software integration
What’s Needed?
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
0-2 years of experience in firmware or software development
Familiarity with validation, Windows usability issues, and debugging tools
Experience with troubleshooting and unit testing of systems
Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
