General Description
As a Senior Business Analyst & Storyteller you will work for the Our People Strategic team analyzing people related data, creating meaningful insight through storytelling, and building visualization. This role will support HR and senior leaders in monitoring key people metrics and initiatives while contributing to the decision-making process. You will help define the people strategies for attracting, retaining and developing our talent.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Capturing quantitative and qualitative meaningful data related to our employees’ experience and behavior
Analyzing financial data for adequate monitoring of personnel expenses
Converting HR metrics and data into visual stories using data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Creating dashboards that support ongoing projects and data inquiries
Automating, configuring, and scheduling recurring reports and dashboards using Snowflake (cloud-based data warehouse)
Leveraging predictive analytics and forecasting models to anticipate employee and business needs, enabling proactive workforce planning, data-driven decision-making, and improved outcomes
Articulating findings clearly and concisely, and creating data-driven content with unique narratives to be included in infographics, presentations and reports
Writing reports that will be shared within and outside the HR division including the CEO, senior executives and Board of Directors.
Serving as internal advisor while collaborating with team members, colleagues from other departments and IT, enabling insight that can empower better decision-making
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
Experience
At least three (3) to five (5) years in manipulation & analysis of large, complex datasets, cloud-based data warehouse and data visualization tools.
Experience in data storytelling.
Other Qualifications
Knowledge of financial concepts and budget management.
Detail-oriented, organized, exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Self-driven, agile and able to work independently and on multiple engagements simultaneously.
Strong ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
Creative thinker and an outstanding storyteller.
Experience with developing or monitoring metrics.
Ability to present and interact with all levels of management including executive leadership.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
Proficiency in Office 365 tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
Knowledge and experience in cloud-based data warehouse (e.g. Snowflake).
Knowledge and experience data visualization tools. (e.g. Power BI).
Knowledge and experience in Python and SQL is a plus.

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
