Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time
Optometrist
to provide comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat various eye conditions, and prescribe corrective lenses. This role offers a collaborative, patient-focused work environment across multiple office locations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine and medical eye exams
Diagnose and treat a range of eye conditions
Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses
Clearly communicate diagnosis and care plans to patients
Perform LAL treatments (training provided)
Document patient visits using EMR
Participate in on-call rotations and see add-on/ER patients as needed
Attend staff meetings and follow all clinical policies and safety protocols
Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) and active NY State license
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between locations
Strong communication and patient care skills
Proficiency with EMR and medical coding/billing
Team-oriented mindset and professional demeanor
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and assist with patient care, including occasional lifting (up to 35 lbs).
Additional Details
On-site position with required travel between locations
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
