Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain ongoing robust and productive research programs related to health services research, population health, health policy & management or health economics research.
Leverage advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) methods to evaluate health system performance, population health outcomes, cost-effectiveness, and health equity and to inform policy, value-based care, and prevention strategies.
Develop, organize, and teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate level. Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students.
Contribute to the community engagement and service mission of the College and participate in department, college, university, and professional committees as appropriate.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively with different groups/individuals.
Skill in public speaking and presenting information to large groups.
Skill in manuscript development and submission of works to peer reviewed journals.
Skill in proposal development for submission to nationally competitive extramural funding programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in public health or other related field or related professional degree.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high-impact research portfolio.
