What to Expect
The Commercial Risk Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for developing, planning, managing, and overseeing quality assurance (QA) reviews within the department. This role establishes metrics and enhances analytical reporting to evaluate adherence to credit policy. The role guides Commercial Operations teams to ensure proper credit policy execution and appropriate credit decision authority for commercial finance products, including dealer floor plan, working capital loans, mortgage and construction loans, and equipment financing, as well as new finance products added to the portfolio. This role also provides risk‑analytics insights, supports monthly RCC reporting and ad hoc portfolio analytics, manages overline reporting, and assists with policy and procedure updates for Enterprise Risk and Governance and Commercial Operations.

What You Will Do

Quality Assurance Program & Review Execution

Plan, manage, and perform data driven QA sampling reviews for Commercial Operations to ensure credit policy compliance.

Assess operational efficiency, identify root causes and provide QA analysis to Commercial Operations. Maintain settlement rate reports, prepare, and validate data, and perform issue to issue analysis.

Process, Policy & Procedure Governance

Coordinate with Commercial Operations teams to review processes, policies, procedures, and systems.

Analyze findings, recommend solutions to management, and recommend policy/procedure changes.

Support policy and procedure updates for Enterprise Risk and Governance and Commercial Operations, including Global Governance related policies.

QA Tools, Training & Coaching

Design and update QA questionnaires; provide relevant feedback and clarifications.

Provide policy training support, coaching and guidance on policies and procedures, as needed.

Risk Analytics, RCC Reporting/Approval & Special Projects

Support risk analytics, project management for RCC and other Commercial Risk projects.

Review and analyze new product and new market introductions and presentations.

Meet with Commercial Operations teams to provide feedback, guidance, and support the RCC approval process, as needed.

Overline Management & Portfolio Monitoring

Manage the overline process for overline dealers/borrowers on a monthly basis.

Monitor borrower performance and financial metrics for the Commercial portfolios.

Prepare risk summary reports and present findings to management, as needed.

Qualifications
What You Will Bring

Minimum 5‑7 years’ progressive experience including risk analytics, quality assurance (QA sampling/reviews), policy/procedure development and review.

Commercial credit underwriting and operations experience required.

Automotive finance experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related field/quantitative experience.

Certified Six Sigma training/background preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel; PowerPoint.

Strong statistics/analytics, strong data interpretation, and reporting.

Ability to understand policy guidelines, document data analysis, and explain complex systems/business problems.

Self‑directed and results oriented.

Exceptional attention to detail and quality.

Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

Excellent written/verbal communication, including presentation skills.

Strong interpersonal/collaboration skills across functions.
