Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking motivated individuals to manage projects in our successful Water business in the Southwest.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead exceptional teams to deliver successful projects for clients in the Water business.
Engage internally with staff at all levels and externally with clients, business and professional organizations, regulatory agencies, subconsultants, and other firms.
Develop and manage the approved scope, budget, and schedule on multiple projects simultaneously.
Establish project objectives, procedures and performance standards, and lead multi-disciplinary teams on proposals, planning studies, feasibility through final designs, and construction services.
Identify appropriate resources and skill sets to achieve project objectives, manage contract terms, track and manage costs and schedule, and implement measures necessary to stay on schedule and within budget.
Support proposal pricing strategies, cost proposal preparation, contract legal and risk reviews, and related marketing efforts to develop winning proposals.
Adhere to Stantec’s internal policies and practices, including risk management, project management, and quality management.
Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, approval agencies and industry professionals by providing exceptional service.
Provide mentoring and training for future leaders to support their career growth.
Promote collaboration and teamwork across business lines and geographies.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Experienced in organizing, planning, and executing projects from pursuit through closeout, involving internal personnel, subconsultants, and vendors.
Ability to make sound, defensible business decisions, and identify, assess, evaluate, and solve complex problems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for team building and collaboration.
Education and Experience
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ relevant professional experience, with at least 1 year of experience managing and/or coordinating projects.
Engineer in Training (EIT) required; Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or the ability to achieve it within 2 years of hire is preferred.
Typical office environment includes working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
Pay Range
Locations in VT, & Various CA, NY Areas – Min Salary $88,300 – Max Salary $128,000
Locations in CO, HI, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas – Min Salary $97,100 – Max Salary $140,800
