Logistics Operations Manager, Google Data Center Logistics

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in a customer or client-facing operations management role supporting data center logistics.
Preferred: 5 years of experience managing operations in multiple locations.
Preferred: 5 years of experience in operations management, problem-solving, Third‑Party Logistics (3PL) vendor relationships, budget creation, and cost management.
Preferred: 2 years of experience analyzing data and generating business insights to guide decisions.
Preferred: Ability to work with systems tools, such as SAP, homegrown systems, etc.
Responsibilities
Own the day‑to‑day logistics operations management of multiple data center locations.
Create, lead, and support cross‑functional company initiatives/projects.
Manage Third‑party logistics partners, monitor metrics for key performance indicators (KPIs), vendor performance scorecards, and develop business cases for logistics process changes or improvements.
Drive alignment and prioritization of initiatives in a fluid environment.
Manage quarterly budgets, invoice control, and capital improvement projects within locations.
Manage relationships with multiple internal customers at data centers.
Recognize improvement opportunities, develop documented business cases, present to peers and management for approval, and provide ongoing project management.
About the role
You will be the leader of how Google optimizes daily logistics processes while incorporating current industry standards and best practices, focusing on continuous process improvement and operational excellence for Google Cloud Logistics.
Compensation and Benefits
US base salary range: $90,500 - $128,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
