Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field
Eligible to hold or pursue a GaPSC issued Leadership Certificate
Successful progressive leadership experience in education, including classroom instruction and demonstrated leadership responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
Hold a GaPSC‑issued Tier I Leadership Certificate
Successful, progressive experience in instructional leadership roles such as grade‑level leadership, department chair, instructional coach, or administrative support roles
Experience working in a public school district
Demonstrated ability to support instruction, student achievement, school operations, and staff development
Working Conditions
Work is performed primarily in a standard in‑person elementary school setting
Requires travel between district offices and schools
Regularly involves standing, walking, speaking, and interacting with students, staff, parents, and community members
May require occasional lifting of materials or equipment
Requires regular use of technology, including computers, student information systems, instructional platforms, and communication tools
Work hours generally align with the school day but include evenings or weekends for school events, meetings, professional development, and district responsibilities
Must be adaptable to varying school needs, enrollment sizes, and district initiatives

Annual Salary based on degree level and previous years of experience in a similar role
Annual Salary Range (Based on 2025/2026 JCSS Administrative Salary Scale):
Masters: $85,184‑$101,802
Specialist: $88,678‑$105,297
Doctorate: $93,920‑$110,538
Selection Procedures
Administrators will prioritize candidates who meet both the preferred and minimum qualifications for each position and will select individuals for interviews as positions become available.
