
Electrical Reliability Engineer

The ideal candidate will provide engineering support through reliability processes and function within the highly automated Hot Strip Mill to meet the business goals of the client.
The Basics
Bachelor of Science Degree in an Electrical Engineering Discipline required
Proficient in RCM Practices (Reliability Centered Maintenance)
Able to perform data analysis on equipment performance
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
5 years’ minimum engineering experience
Proficiency in writing technical proposals and communications at multiple levels of the organization
Familiarity with RCFA, Cause Mapping, Kaizen problem solving methodologies
Proficiency in data collection and ability to present data in reports
The Extras
PdM Certification or Qualification (Vibration, Thermography, Oil analysis, Tribology, Motor Circuit Analysis)
SolidWorks/AutoCad working knowledge
Working knowledge of SAP
Proficiency in PowerBI
Proficient in RCM Practices (Reliability Centered Maintenance)

What You’ll Be Doing
Provides Engineering Support for the Maintenance Team
Subject Matter Expert for Reliability Engineering practices
Initiates and Facilitate Root Cause Analysis of equipment failures and major breakdowns
Identifies and proposes solutions for repeat equipment failures and unplanned downtime events
Participates in execution of critical equipment inspections and analysis
Analyzes Equipment Data, recommended maintenance plans, drawings, etc.
Writes technically based Equipment Maintenance Plans
Performs tracking and trending of equipment maintenance performance
Review drawings and technical documentation
