Academic Neuropsychologist/Clinical Psychologist for Autism Program
The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology (CAPP) at MetroHealth Medical Center / Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine is seeking a full‑time neuropsychologist or clinical psychologist for an immediate opening in our interdisciplinary Autism Assessment Clinic. The position serves adolescent and adult patients, with pediatric opportunities available for lifespan trained individuals. All faculty have academic appointments at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and are expected to be actively involved in academic training activities.

Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic assessment to adolescents and adults with suspected ASD.

Supervise neurodevelopmental and pediatric neuropsychology residents and fellows.

Participate in academic medical education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Develop and implement training opportunities for medical providers on caring for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Consult with educational and vocational partners.

Engage in clinical research activities in the field of developmental disabilities.

Assist in program development for comprehensive transition services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Develop outpatient programs for severe or intensive behaviors in patients with autism.

Develop primary care models of autism screening and diagnosis.

Qualifications

Fluent English verbal communication skills.

Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA‑accredited clinical psychology graduate program with primary interest and background in clinical psychology.

Clinical internship in an APA accredited program.

Completion of a neuropsychological or clinical post‑doctoral fellowship.

License eligibility in Ohio by start date.

Experience in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders, with willingness to achieve reliability on all ADOS modules.
