Position Overview
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is looking for a full-time MRI Technologist to join a Radiology Group to float to their Northern, NJ Imaging Offices located in Maplewood, Linden, Teaneck, & Elizabeth, NJ. This role requires an experienced professional with significant MR work experience, particularly with high-field magnets. This position qualifies for float differential pay and offers the opportunity to train in and perform remote MRI scanning.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI exams with accuracy and care using high-field magnets across multiple office locations

Float between Northern, NJ Imaging Offices in Maplewood, Linden, Teaneck, & Elizabeth as needed

Operate and maintain MRI imaging equipment according to established protocols on various equipment brands (GE, Phillips, Siemens)

Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures, including screening for MRI safety contraindications

Train in and perform remote MRI scanning as required

Adhere to all department and facility safety protocols, especially when working in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment

Maintain required certifications and stay current with industry standards

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members as needed

Utilize CT experience as a plus when applicable

May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program

Licensure:

ARRT(MR) certification required

Experience:

5 or more years of MR work experience required; high-field magnet experience is a must; GE high-field magnet experience preferred; Phillips and Siemens experience a plus; CT experience preferred

Technical Skills:

May be required to train in and perform remote MRI scanning.

Will be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Competitive Compensation:

$40 per hour; This position qualifies for float differential pay
