Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board Certified Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for a full-time dermatology locum tenens assignment. This role manages a high-volume patient load in a clinical setting, requiring strong dermatology expertise and proficiency in Epic EMR.
Schedule & Shift Details:
Status:
Full-Time Locum Tenens.
Duration:
July through January.
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
Shift Structure:
Standard 8-hour day shifts; no call requirements.
Block Scheduling:
Not available.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Patient Volume:
High-volume clinic seeing approximately 25–35 patients per day.
Support Staff:
Robust clinical support provided at a ratio of one staff member (LPN, RN, or MA) for every 12 patients.
Charting:
Extensive use of Epic EMR for all patient documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Licensure:
Active New York State license in hand.
Certification:
Board Certification is required.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in Dermatology.
Recent, hands‑on experience with Epic EMR is required.
Life Support:
Active BLS certification required.
Observed Holidays:
New Year’s Day.
Memorial Day.
Independence Day.
Labor Day.
Thanksgiving Day.
Christmas Day.
All orientation hours are fully billable.
