Internship Overview
Moore Colson has an exciting internship opportunity for dynamic, motivated, and self-driven students to join our Business and Financial Advisory team in Atlanta from May- August 2027. This is an excellent chance to gain hands‑on experience in auditing and public accounting, preparing you for a successful career in the field. The successful candidates will work closely with our experienced audit professionals and get exposure to various aspects of audit practice.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with projects including but not limited to weekly and month‑end/year‑end close processes, management reporting and preparing reconciliations
Maintaining fixed assets schedules
Assisting with system design and implementation/conversion
Calculating and reporting indirect taxes
Helping clients prepare cash flow and or financial projections
Assisting clients with payroll processing and 1099 preparation
Troubleshooting client issues as they arise
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA or CPA‑track preferred
0–2 years of audit/public accounting experience
Strong Excel and audit software skills (CCH Pro fx, IDEA a plus)
Excellent communication and client service mindset
