Role Overview
GLC Advisors is seeking a top-tier Investment Banking Associate to join its Technology advisory practice in Denver. This role is designed for candidates with strong technical ability, sound judgment, and a demonstrated interest in executing complex transactions in a lean, senior-driven advisory environment.
Associates work in small deal teams with direct exposure to senior bankers and clients and are expected to assume meaningful responsibility across all phases of transaction execution. The position offers the opportunity to operate as a core execution professional on M&A and financing mandates for technology-focused clients.
Responsibilities
Associates will assume substantial ownership of transaction execution, including:
Leading analytical and execution workstreams on M&A and financing assignments
Working directly with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors to advance transactions from mandate through closing
Managing deal teams and supervising Analysts in the preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, information memoranda, and client presentations
Producing high-quality analytical materials under demanding timelines for client and senior-level discussions
Qualifications
GLC Advisors seeks candidates with a demonstrated record of excellence, including:
Exceptional analytical aptitude, intellectual curiosity, and work ethic
Prior experience as an Analyst or Associate in investment banking preferred
Demonstrated transaction and team leadership experience
Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and financial statement analysis skills
Proven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Capital IQ, PitchBook, and related financial tools
Bachelor’s degree required
FINRA Series 79 or Series 7 strongly preferred (required within 90 days of start date)
