Timmons Group is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Civil Project Engineer III
to join our
Land Development
team in
Charlotte, NC . The Project Engineer III will contribute to a wide range of land development projects—from residential neighborhoods to commercial developments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Designing site layouts, grading, utilities, and stormwater systems using
Civil 3D
and other modeling tools.
Performing engineering calculations and solving real-world design challenges.
Preparing technical specifications and construction documents.
Conducting research and writing objective reports to support project completion.
Assisting with cost estimates and construction planning.
Supporting field inspections and data collection.
Collaborating with clients, internal teams, and senior engineers to deliver high-quality results.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
6+ years
of experience in land development engineering, including residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
EIT certification preferred .
Proficiency in
Civil 3D
and/or other CAD software.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
