R-10709# **Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention.****Pay range:**-Hourly$41.11 - $61.67The Overlake Newcastle Clinic is a busy, fast paced and growing Urgent Care and Primary Care Clinic.

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, compassionate Rad Tech who is eager to learn new things and be part of the direct patient care experience to join the Urgent Care side of our team and help us serve the Newcastle community as we continue to grow. The Rad Tech performs a variety of radiographic procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.

Responsible for performing diagnostic exams within established guidelines.

The Radiology Technologist must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate for all ages of patients served. In addition to x-ray responsibilities, RT will room patients, conduct blood draws and other clinical skills within MA scope of practice. Willing to train as part of onboarding if needed. Work under the direction of the Clinic Manager/Supervisor, Provider or appropriate staff to provide basic patient care to assigned patients.If you are great with patients, have compassion for others and enjoy learning new things this may be a perfect opportunity for you. We are walking distance to Newcastle Commons!**Schedule:**M-F 700a-1200p**Qualifications*** AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program preferred* ARRT Registry required (or registry eligible). Annual renewal of ARRT required by OMC, with evidence of same by primary source verification* Washington State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT) is required* Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and OMC, with evidence of same by primary source verification* Current healthcare provider CPR certification required* Two years of related clinical experience preferred* Must have good working knowledge of computer systems with emphasis on Word, Excel, billing, EMR systems and other programs related to the position# We're proud to offer that support you in every stage of your career and life.
