Vice President, POM Technical Product Management
Location: New York, NY.
Overview
This role is part of the BNY Portal Platform team. The Vice President will lead product vision, strategy, development, adoption, and the development of product owners.
Key Responsibilities
Develop product ‘North Star’ vision and long‑term strategy across multiple business lines, competitive landscape, collaborating with design and engineering.
Lead product development across multiple pods, help product owners prioritize backlog and intake, and write detailed requirements as needed for design, development, testing, and deployment.
Lead roll‑out for products coordinating timing with broader platform and key partner releases, maintaining and improving product to meet adoption OKRs.
Coach cross‑functional teams and product owners on product management best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, computer science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree desired.
Minimum 5 years of product management experience, preferably in financial services or fintech.
Strong understanding of digital technologies (web, mobile, APIs, data analytics) with a design‑first sensibility at all stages.
Deep understanding of customer needs, excellence in user experience, and strong communication and analytical skills.
Benefits and Compensation
