
Software Design Engineer

We are looking for the best people for multiple openings in our video router team. As a member of the team, you will be challenged with designing and enhancing the latest broadcast video equipment incorporating the most advanced technology.
Remote work is currently the model. The company is setting up an on-site lab to enable direct access to solutions. A transition to a hybrid working model is planned in the longer term, expected to occur no sooner than 1-2 years.
Important note:
3+ years professional software development experience, including C++14 programming skills
Background in embedded systems (firmware development, hardware interfaces, embedded Linux)
Structured, object-oriented design and programming techniques
General understanding of Linux programming
Understanding of network technologies (sockets, TCP/UDP/RTP, multicast/unicast)
Experience or interest in one or more of the following: Linux device drivers, Ethernet networking, x86 architecture, PCI Express, USB
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in computer scienceor equivalent
Be results oriented, self-motivated, and a team player
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Additional Skills and Experience
Audio and video experience is a plus
