Job Description
The
School of Dental Medicine
is seeking a full‑time
Dental Assistant
at the University at Buffalo. The position supports licensed dental practitioners and students in examination and treatment of patients across all phases of dentistry.
Responsibilities
Serve as chair‑side assistant to licensed dental practitioners and students in examination and treatment.
Obtain and replenish supplies, filing and setting up operatories for all necessary procedures.
Assist in regulatory compliance, stay updated on new developments, techniques and materials, and ensure adherence to infection control protocol.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma and either one year of experience in dental assisting or graduation from an accredited dental assisting program.
Preferred Qualifications
CPR Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
Three years of dental assisting experience.
