Job Description
Atlantic Health System
is seeking a board‑certified Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director of Psychiatry at CentraState Medical Center.
This full‑time position will oversee a 19‑bed adult inpatient unit that serves patients 18 and older, including those with co‑occurring substance use disorders, special needs, and autism spectrum disorder. In addition to inpatient care, responsibilities include consult & liaison psychiatry, crisis intervention, and addiction psychiatry. Experience in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is highly preferred.
The Medical Director will provide leadership to advance CentraState’s mission and strategic priorities, including planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives, as well as coordinating scheduling for behavioral health clinicians.
Salary
Salary Range: $325,000–$375,000 (base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives)

Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
3–5 years of experience preferred
