The role
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be managing complex projects and operating at an advanced level, supporting a well established Nuclear Defence Project.
Day to day, you’ll:
Be responsible for all aspects of projects delivery to desired time, cost and quality restraints
Establish and maintain governance arrangements for the delivery of the project, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities
Deliver world class performance by means of employee engagement, continuous improvement and identifying and implementing the latest technology
Lead on Health, Safety, Security, Environment and quality within the project
Plan and control finances as a means of driving performance
This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis and consists of a 37 hour working week. This role offers hybrid working arrangements with 2-3 days onsite, based in Warrington, Cheshire.
Essential Experience
Relevant Experience within a Senior Project Management role
Extensive experience of EVM (Earned Value Management)
Awareness of various contracting methodologies (e.g. FIDIC/NEC3, NEC4/JCT etc.)
Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role. Further details are available at United Kingdom Security Vetting: clearance levels - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
