Software Test Engineer
focused on Agile software development methods to provide technical support to a program within USSF, Command and Control Systems. This is an onsite role in
El Segundo, CA .
Responsibilities
Document program software test strategy and plans, software test scenarios and software test requirements in development contractor contractual documents and Government program office documentation.
Work with development contractors to ensure developmental software test objectives are consistent with applicable standards, instruction, and policy.
Work with Government developmental and operational software test agencies/organizations to develop the adequate software test methodology consistent with the program manager’s expectations and other external stakeholders, as appropriate.
Lead and/or participate in software test working groups which plan, status, and discuss software test related matters.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in a technical degree pursuit and 10+ years of relevant experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
Software test background-space systems is a plus.
Requires an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a SCI clearance (willing to consent to a counter-intelligence polygraph examination)
Background in Agile Software Development with experience in the following areas:
Program Management (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc)
Development (e.g., DevOps, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment, etc)
Architecture (e.g., Docker Containers, Kubernetes, etc)
Infrastructure (e.g., Cloud - Platform One)
Compensation
Pay Range: $160,000 - $200,000 (based on years of experience and education)
Benefits: Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 2+ weeks PTO and 11 Federal Holidays
