Skills and Experience:
Required:
Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Expert level, 18 years' experience as a Systems Integrator can be considered in lieu of a degree.
18+ years' relevant experience as a Systems Integrator.
Experience Integrating solutions using Cloud Based Technology such as: Service Orientated Architecture (SOA), On-demand self-service, Broad network access, Resource pooling, Rapid elasticity, Measured Service, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
Must demonstrate hands on experience in architecting and building large scale, service-oriented software products.
TS/SCI clearance, with ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph.
Desired:
Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages. To include the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), System Modeling Language (SysML).
Experience Integrating solutions using structured data and models
Experience in Data Science and Data Visualizations (to include Tableau, React, Python, Java) to create impactful analytic tools to make intelligence out of engineering data.
SAFe Agilist certification, OCSMP certification
Experience with IBM Rhapsody
Experience articulating concepts and implementation plans to senior leadership.
Technical & Problem-Solving Skills - Strong understanding of systems engineering and integration (SE&I) environments, with proven analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively through oral, written, and presentation formats.
Relevant Mission/ Program Experience - Previous experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) or DoD programs, experience with NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs or mission environments.
Expert Systems Integrators support the Government by leading and overseeing the integrity of the NSG/ASG systems-of-systems enterprise. They lead and oversee planning, implementation approaches, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for total cloud services, systems or subsystems using defined processes and tools. They provide end-to-end system development life cycle support to the program.
Duty Includes:
Assists with leading and performing systems integration activities across the NSG, ASG and Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.
Assists with leading and overseeing a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud services, infrastructure and security domains.
Assists with overseeing the preparation of engineering plans and site installation technical design packages.
Oversees the work of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level contractor Integration Engineers.
Location: This position is fully onsite in either Chantilly or Springfield, VA
