The Job
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and disciplined Finance Ops lead to own fund flow operations, lender and partner reporting, and borrowing base process across Cardless and our brand partners.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of funding flows and reporting. The role sits at the intersection of Finance, Capital Markets, Data, and Operations, and is essential to maintaining compliance with credit facility requirements and supporting the company’s liquidity management.
The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume, transaction-driven environment, is comfortable working with modern data and banking platforms, and has a strong focus on automation, controls and process scalability.
Responsibilities
Lender Funding Requests & Monthly Reporting
Prepare and submit periodic borrowing base certificate and funding requests using external Capital market platform (e.g. Setpoint)
Ensure ongoing compliance with lender requirements, covenants and eligibility criteria
Own monthly lender reporting packages and support audits and diligence requests
Act as the primary point of contact for lender-related operational inquiries
Monitor daily changes in the data tape and highlight key performance metric changes
Owning Partner Reporting & Daily Fund Flow
Manage monthly reporting deliverables for brand partners
Own daily fund flow operations across Cardless and brand partner programs
Perform and oversee daily reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
Serve as the primary finance contact for partner reporting and funding-related inquiries
Process Improvement & Automation
Identify and drive automation opportunities across reporting, reconciliations, and funding workflows
Partner with Data and Engineering to build scalable reporting infrastructure and resolve data gaps
Enhance internal controls and operational processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
3+ years of experience in investment banking, fin-tech, fin-operations, or accounting
Experience managing high-volume transaction workflows in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of reconciliations, reporting, and operational controls
Proficiency in Excel and experience working with data tools (e.g., Snowflake, SQL)
Ability to manage tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and ownership
Strong communication skills, including experience interacting with external stakeholders (e.g., lenders, partners)
Preferred
Experience working with credit facilities, structured finance, or warehouse lending
Familiarity with borrowing base mechanics and collateral reporting
Experience with capital markets platforms (e.g., Setpoint) or similar tools
Background in fintech or high-growth startup environments
Compensation
This role has an annual starting salary range of $125k-$150k + equity + benefits. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, and specific work location.
