How You'll Contribute
The Cardiovascular Technician performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures using specialized imaging equipment in the Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab and non‑invasive imaging settings. The role supports physicians by assisting during procedures, scrubbing and monitoring patients, and performing high‑quality cardiovascular and vascular imaging studies, including echocardiography and peripheral vascular exams, in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice. The technician applies knowledge of ultrasound principles, anatomy, physiology, and imaging modalities to optimize image quality, recognize pathology, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure accurate documentation in PACS. Strong critical thinking, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment are essential.

What We're Looking For

High school graduate or GED equivalency.

Graduate of a CAAHEP‑approved school of ultrasound or cardiovascular technology or equivalent experience.

Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

One year of experience in a cardiovascular lab or special procedures preferred.

Must be able to meet requirements of departmental on‑call policy.
