The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of industrial construction projects. This role involves project management, client communication, team leadership, and a focus on safety, quality, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management

Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of industrial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budgets, and schedules.

Develop and manage project execution plans, timelines, and budgets.

Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.

Implement and assure adherence to processes associated with project controls and change management.

Client Relationship Management

Establish and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact.

Conduct regular client meetings to provide project updates and address concerns.

Ensure client satisfaction and seek opportunities for additional work.

Team Leadership

Assemble project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.

Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and safety standards.

Mentor and develop junior project management staff.

Develop and maintain good working relationships with associated Building Trades and labor representatives supporting the projects.

Safety and Quality Assurance

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on project sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Implement and enforce quality control processes to meet project specifications.

Lead incident investigations and develop corrective action plans.

Financial Management

Manage project budgets and financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting, and profitability analysis.

Monitor and control project expenses and optimize resource allocation.

Review and approve project invoices and change orders.

Risk Management

Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.

Ensure that project insurance and bonding requirements are met.

Client Reporting

Prepare and deliver regular project reports to clients and senior management.

Address client requests, issues, and changes promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus. Relevant field experience and management experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.

8+ years of experience in industrial construction project management, including leadership roles.

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.

Strong knowledge of construction project management processes, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.

Experience with project management software and tools, especially Procore and Autodesk, is preferred.

Ability and willingness to temporarily relocate to project sites for the duration of each assignment is required.
