Position Overview
Dynisco is a leader in sensor technologies (pressure, temperature, viscosity) that enable plastics processing and recycling, oil and gas, food production, and general industrial applications. We are looking for someone wanting to join a small team developing new sensing technology. A person with interest in any of the following areas: digital hardware, analog circuit design, power systems design, signal processing, embedded software/firmware, hardware/software test development. The Engineering Intern gains professional, career-related experience by performing special project work for the Engineering department as assigned.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities
Student will gain an understanding of:

Different sensor/sensing technologies of our products applicable for use in high pressure/high temperature sensing applications.

Debugging prototype hardware, creating and running test scripts and helping to run experiments to gain insight into our sensor performance.

Designing electrical circuitry and embedded systems to address the various needs of pressure, temperature and viscosity sensing system.

Measurement equipment (mechanical and electrical)

Educational Qualifications
Engineering student seeking BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Other Qualifications

Comfortable reading schematics and electronic circuits and the ability to do PCB layout is a plus but not required (we will teach you!).

Comfortable programming skills in one or more: C/C++, Python

Physical ability to interact with equipment in the laboratory such as pumps, weights up to 25 lbs, ability to see well enough to read instrumentation and hearing sufficient to hear annunciators in equipment.
