The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with a fast-scaling clean energy technology business to appoint a
Production Manager
based in Alabama. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing
day-to-day manufacturing operations
and ensuring efficient, high-quality production at scale.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the heart of
operational delivery , managing production teams, driving output, and ensuring that manufacturing processes meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
You will play a critical role in supporting the organisation’s growth, helping to scale production capabilities in line with increasing demand across the clean energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage
daily production operations , ensuring output targets are met
Oversee and develop
production teams , driving performance and accountability
Monitor and improve
production efficiency, quality, and cost control
Implement
lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with
health, safety, and environmental standards
Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations
Track and report on
KPIs , identifying areas for improvement and optimisation
Requirements
Proven experience in a
Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager
role
Background in
manufacturing, industrial, or energy-related environments
Strong understanding of
lean manufacturing, process optimisation, and production planning
Experience managing teams within a
high-growth or scaling environment
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Ability to work in a
fast-paced, hands-on environment
