
RN - Interventional Radiology

The competent Registered Nurse, in a perinatal clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. This role includes providing routine and complex care while developing the ability to manage clinical situations effectively.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Administer medications and treatments according to protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and caregivers, identifying issues and resources.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a perinatal nursing specialty preferred.
Current RN license in the state of Texas or compact.
BLS certification required (AHA only).
Current certifications: AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C‑EFM), STABLE, NRP, and ACLS (AHA only).
