As a Retail and Consumer Experience Project Manager, you will help bring world-class retail environments to life for global clients by leading projects that integrate design excellence, technical expertise, and strategic thinking.You will collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team across regions and time zones, guiding projects from concept through completion. In this role, you will serve as a trusted client partner, a team leader, and a steward of Gensler’s commitment to quality, innovation, and impact.**What You Will Do*** Lead the delivery of mid-size to large retail projects across all phases of design and construction* Partner closely with clients to understand goals, manage expectations, and deliver successful outcomes* Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants across multiple geographic regions* Support business development efforts, including proposals, presentations, and new client pursuits* Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans* Prepare, review, and coordinate contracts and consultant agreements* Oversee project financial performance, ensuring alignment between project accounting and invoicing* Lead, mentor, and support project teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth* Coordinate and review project documentation in preparation for key milestones and deliverables**Your Qualifications*** At least 10 years of project management experience in an Architecture or Interior Design practice* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or Interior Design* Architectural license and/or NCIDQ certification (completed or in progress)* Experience working across all phases of architectural and interior design projects* Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills* Solid understanding of the design and construction process* Working knowledge of building codes and local jurisdictional requirements* Knowledge of sustainable design practices; LEED project experience a plus* High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project)* Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit; Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus**Life at Gensler**At Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
