Discipline: Water Treatment Engineer/Risk Assessor
Due to continued company success, our client is seeking a multi-skilled applicant, who is confident in undertaking water hygiene and plumbing duties, in addition to legionella risk assessments. You will be joining a national player within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, who have a growing presence across the South East of England. The ideal applicant will have a flexible attitude in order to adapt to changing client requirements. Experience / Qualifications
Proven experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor / Plumber
Will hold the City and Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing
Must be qualified with the G3 Unvented ticket and NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
Excellent technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
Hardworking attitude
Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role
CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections
Tank installations and chlorinations
Showerhead disinfections
TMV servicing, installations and replacements
Removing deadlegs
Replacing flexi-hoses
Cooling tower cleans and disinfections
Conducting legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
Fault-finding on site
Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
Producing detailed reports to advise on findings and make appropriate recommendations
