The Filutowski Eye Institute is seeking a BC/BE, Florida licensed, Cataract Surgeon to join our busy and well-established practice. Currently, our practice consists of four MD’s, four Optometrists, and approximately 140 total staff members.

About the Filutowski Eye Institute
We specialize in cataract surgery (standard and refractive), and refractive surgery. Three locations extend our presence from Central Florida to the East coast beaches. For more than 35 years, we have dedicated our efforts to providing Excellence in Eye Care and Vision for Life to those in Central Florida. We are the main referral practice for 200+ local optometrists. We were the first practice in Central Florida to offer many procedures, including SMILE.

Procedures and Technology
Lake Mary and Daytona Beach offices each have an Ambulatory Service Center. The Lake Mary office houses a SMILE/LASIK/PRK suite with Zeiss VisuMax and Mel 90 excimer laser. Cataract surgery includes the use of Light Adjustable Lens (LAL), Toric, EDOF and Multifocal IOL’s, and MIGS. Refractive procedures include SMILE, LASIK, PRK, ICL, and RLE.

Position Description

Cataract surgeon performing 500+ cases a year

General Ophthalmology

Other clinical and surgical skills a plus

Full time position

Negotiable salary with incentive bonus

Ideal Candidate

Have excellent surgical skills or be highly trainable

Possess superb clinical and interpersonal skills

Manage and maintain a strong work ethic within a fast‑paced work environment

Be enthusiastic to learn and embrace new technologies and procedures

Be willing and able to commute between our three offices as necessary
