
Part-Time Social Media Coordinator - Fusion Dance Center, Roselle Park, NJ

Fusion Dance Centre and Ensemble Schools is seeking an experienced, creative Social Media Coordinator who appreciates the value of arts education.
Applicants should have the ability to capture the energy and passion within our vibrant dance community. Engagement and story‑telling on all platforms is required. Previous experience working with children is a plus.
This position is ideal for media students and professionals who love creating unique content, as well as incorporating current trends in their work.
Position Overview
The Social Media Coordinator works closely with our Social Media and Marketing Managers to schedule and capture content within our large dance studio.
Content should be relevant and engaging for each specific audience on Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok.

Responsibilities
Take photos and videos as assigned during classes, events, and performances.
Create graphics, reels, and posts as scheduled for each platform.
Use story‑telling and emotion to engage families inside and outside our dance community and track engagement.
Help create campaigns incorporating specific communication or marketing initiatives and track performance.
Remain current with technologies and trends in social media, utilize to increase engagement and optimize performance of campaigns.
Ideal Candidate
Truly enjoys the process of creating specialized content and has the initiative to learn new skills to grow within the role.
Is highly organized to maintain media folders and manage multiple projects at once.
Has excellent time‑management skills to meet deadlines and maintain a content calendar.
Effectively communicates with team members to ensure accuracy of details and intention of campaigns.
Thinks outside the box to create new ways to unite our community and attract new customers to our brand on all platforms.
Is comfortable working with groups of children of all ages and has an appreciation for dance and dance studios.
Schedule
Flexibility to capture content during daytime, evening, and weekend classes, events, and performances, at our studio location and local community programs.
In‑studio and limited remote hours for meetings and content creation.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role.
Proficient in creating graphics, reels, and business posts on all platforms.
Knowledge of web traffic data, SEO, and social media marketing KPIs.
Must provide samples of content. Prior dance experience or experience working with children is a plus.
Pay range: $18-$22 per hour
