Your Responsibilities
Lead all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs and maintain full regulatory, corporate, and ISO 14001/45001 compliance, ensuring a safe, prevention‑focused workplace.
Own and continuously improve the site EHS Management System, including risk assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions, audits, and key performance metrics.
Direct environmental and sustainability programs, covering waste, air, water, hazardous materials, reporting, and overall environmental compliance.
Provide strategic EHS and Security leadership, including annual goal setting, serving as the Site Security Champion, and partnering with Site Leadership, Engineering, and Operations on safety and risk‑related decisions.
Lead and develop the EHS team and resources, overseeing Occupational Health services, employee engagement, budget and capital planning, and effective communication with regulators, contractors, and corporate partners.
The experience we are looking for
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Management, Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or a related discipline is required.
7 to 10 years of managerial experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety within a regulated (FDA) manufacturing environment is required.
The skills for success
Expertise in OSHA, EPA, and state regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
Data analysis and trend identification.
Corrective and preventive action (CAPA) development.
Strong interpersonal and cross‑functional communication skills.
Leadership in coaching and developing EHS team members.
Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions.
Continuous improvement and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to influence organizational behavior toward safety and environmental compliance.
Proficiency with EHS information systems and digital reporting tools.
What we offer
Competitive base salary (USD$116,000.00 – $145,000.00).
