What you’ll do

Perform instrumental analysis for target compound and polymer characterization

Conduct the analysis of industrial adhesive and functional products using modern vibrational spectroscopy instrumentation including FT-IR

Work with technical team, propose analytical solutions

Design and carry out experimental plans and procedures using modern analytical tools

Analyze and summarize experimental results independently, and communicate with the business partners to ensure on‑time delivery of results and provide proper solutions

Follow lab quality control and quality assurance practice

Maintain high quality data in a fast‑paced environment

Prepare clear analytical reports and method SOPs and perform instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting

What makes you a good fit

Master's or PhD in the field of Analytical, Polymer Science, or Chemical Engineering with extensive experience in polymer characteristics

Hands‑on experience in vibrational spectroscopy such as FT-IR and other polymer characterization method is a plus

Capable of interpretation of complicated analytical results on complex sample matrices

Effective written and oral communication as well as excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders

Strong computer and data‑analysis skills to support analytical testing and reporting

The salary range for this role is $98,000.00 and $110,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
