What You’ll Do
As a Site Manager, you will plan, lead, and control the site operations as established in procedures and guidelines set by the company in the areas of: people, equipment, material and environmental safety, cost performance, asset utilization, customer product and service delivery. Other duties include:
Achieve Operational Excellence through focused management and measured performance.
Ensure compliance with applicable HSEQ Performance Standards, and site security program
Proactively work to achieve compliance with safety systems
Responsive in the event of a safety related incident, and/or investigation, and implements corrective action with urgency
Responsible to respect the rights of others and to help create a discrimination and harassment free workplace
Maintain the site expenditure and assets to achieve financial targets
Ensure delivery of products and service
Communicate all information that may have an impact on Dyno Nobel, its business (current or future), its operations, and any competitor activity.
Management of site operating expenditure to beat current year's budget
Contribute to achieving budgeted customer profitability as measured by EBIT, EBITA, and EBITDA.
Manage maintenance systems for all company assets to minimum company standards.
Identify, recommend, and implement initiatives to reduce overall cost of doing business.
Eliminate all forms of waste from site operations.
Identify and recommend Continuous Improvement projects that have financial benefits for both Dyno Nobel and our Customer
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelors degree or equivalent. Additional directly related work experience may be substituted for some of the educational requirements
5+ years working experience with progressively increasing professional or technical responsibility
2+ years in supervisory role within a relevant industry
People management skills including leadership, performance management and coaching
Experience with manufacture of emulsion matrix, bulk truck delivery and on-bench blasting operations.
Experience with safety, environment, quality, maintenance, and training systems.
Strong understanding and acceptance of responsibility for compliance to relevant OSHA, ATF, DOT and EPA and local regulations
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
