Summary
Contracts Management responsibilities span from the FEL2 phase through to project closeout. The Contracts Manager leads teams of contract specialists and administrators, overseeing construction, services, and material/equipment contracts for EPCM projects. The role ensures on‑time, on‑budget delivery by managing the entire contracting process, from pre‑award planning to post‑award administration.

Key Responsibilities

Draft contracting strategies with construction, engineering, project controls, and procurement teams; incorporate price bases and contractor selection criteria into the Project Execution Plan.

Develop and maintain the sourcing plan, finalize the bidders list, and actively manage pre‑qualification.

Implement the contract management plan, including documentation, bidding, and contract award processes.

Oversee contractual change control, payment certification, claims administration, and vendor performance evaluation.

Maintain contract registers, manage bonds/guarantees, and ensure accurate forecasting of final costs and cash flow.

Supervise, train, and support team members; conduct regular status meetings and coordinate with Procurement Manager for resource planning.

Ensure compliance with Hatch and client governance, procedures, and contractual terms.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential

Extensive experience in EPCM environments managing construction and services contracts on capital projects.

Contracts/legal and general project management training.

Skill in drafting commercial terms, negotiating, and understanding legal implications.

Strong procurement process, contract management, and corporate governance knowledge.

Experience with contracting strategies, change management, dispute resolution, and site‑based contract administration.

Proven managerial and team‑building capabilities.

Preferred

Tertiary qualification.

Legal or arbitration certification.

International experience in a similar role.

Bilingual proficiency (English and another language).
