We are seeking an ABOG board‑certified or board‑eligible Ob/Gyn physician for 24‑hour in‑hospital Ob/Gyn hospitalist call. This is a temporary per diem position for 6 months with hotel, travel and meals paid for the 6‑month duration, with potential for contract renewal and/or permanent placement after one year.

No clinic responsibilities

Physician does not need to live in the surrounding area

Collaborative practice with Kaiser Permanente Ob/Gyn physicians (on‑call and outpatient teams)

Schedule

Minimum: One 24‑hour shift per week

Maximum: Up to four 24‑hour shifts per week

Responsibilities

Manage patients on Labor & Delivery and in the OB Emergency Room (triage)

See obstetric and gynecologic consults from the hospital and emergency room

Perform obstetrical and gynecologic emergency surgeries

Manage antepartum and postpartum services

EMR: Cerner (converting to EPIC in August 2026)

In‑house anesthesia

Level II NICU

Malpractice insurance and tail coverage provided

Requirements

Active California medical license

ABOG board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Completion of Obstetrics & Gynecology residency
