Position Overview
ICON EyeCare is seeking a comprehensive ophthalmologist or medical retina specialist to join our growing team in Grand Junction, CO. This role is designed for a physician who enjoys a strong clinical practice complemented by in-office procedural care, with a particular focus on medical retina services. Our practice is overwhelmed with medical retina care and whoever joined would immediately step into a busy practice day one with strong income potential.
Scope of Practice
Comprehensive ophthalmic exams and medical management of eye disease
In-office minor procedures
Medical retina services, including:
Intravitreal injections
Retinal laser treatments
Light-based therapies such as Valeda treatments
Practice Environment
Established referral network with strong and growing patient demand
Highly trained clinical and technical support teams
Efficient clinic workflows designed to support procedural volume
Modern equipment supporting comprehensive and retina-focused care

Qualifications
MD or DO with completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency
Board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology
Experience or strong interest in medical retina required

Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based care model
