Full TIme Pastor

Plan the weekly worship service and preach scripturally-based sermons

Provide spiritual and outreach leadership, and inspiration for the entire church family

Spearhead teams in planning for the future spiritual needs of the congregation

Lead in the administering of the sacraments

Conduct weddings, funerals, and baptisms

Provide counseling and prayer

Lead teaching program programs and Bible study, confirmation classes, and new member classes

Guide and support the policies and procedures of APC, work with Presbytery as needed

Maintain a presence/informed awareness of all church activities

Provide leadership and direction for staff and lay leaders

Prepare the docket and moderate session meetings

Attend to his/her personal spiritual health and development

Be involved in community affairs, such as civic club membership, attendance at civic and cultural events, local Ministerium, and other appropriate gatherings

Serve as staff liaison to the worship, stewardship, human resources, session, deacons, and trustees along with others as appropriate
