Electrician / Mechanical Technician

Up to $30.00 an hour based on experience
Sign on bonus of $500 based on background and work experience
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment breakdowns
Use of analog, digital test equipment, and electrical tools
Experience with networked I/O PLC networks and industrial networking.
Servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of DC drives and Servo drives
PLC troubleshooting, repair, and replacement
Perform preventative maintenance
Knowledge of NEC and OSHA regulations
Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Experience with the following helpful:
Ability to perform minor power projects which include conduit and wiring installation
Ability to understand complex electrical and pneumatic control diagrams
Knowledge or ability to use machine shop equipment
HVAC experience
Familiarity with newspaper printing presses and mailroom processing equipment
On-the-job training where needed
Requirements:
3 years of Industrial electrical / maintenance
Experience working with voltages of 600 volts or less and associated equipment
Strong communication skills
Motivated
Microsoft office applications or similar
Physical requirements include but are not limited to climbing and working from ladders and steps, working in some confined spaces, periodic moderate to heavy lifting as related to various jobs
Work schedule is nights, weekends, and holidays
The team will assist with training
